Longmeadow Pond is my favorite, but if you call THAT a pond, I wonder if you live in New England as it would be referred to as a lake in most parts of the U.S., I believe.
Cascading Waters is great too, and the more so because of the snow.
I sometimes, before closing my blog, hit the "next blog" button just to see what pops up. I am always in hope of finding a truly great blog that hardly anyone else knows about, and yours is such a blog.
My interest in photography had almost become an obsession, I would find myself bringing a camera most everywhere I went. I would photograph everything and once I viewed them I would delete them almost immediately. I now try to get quality shots. I hope you agree.
I have decided to take up kayaking at my age. What a great sport for someone who loves being near rhe water. Unfortunetly I love being near the water but spend way to much time in it especially when disembarking. I guess good things take time. While in Fort Myers this winter I decided I was going to buy a kayak and there was a dealer just down the street. I stopped in one afternoon to talk to the owner and he suggested I rent one for an afternoon ($30.00) and if I bought one he would put the $30 toward the cost of it. I wasn't sure if I wanted a sit on top or one you sit inside. I took out both of them and decided on the sit inside one. Fort Myer is on the Gulf of Mexico an has relatively calm waters.so it was like being on a lake, very smooth. The sit on top I found to be very shaky perhaps because of the higher center of gravity I guess. It was one of the most enjoyable days I had there this year. The price seemed fantastic but then I had to purchase some sort of unit to carry it home on top of the car but I didn't mind. When I arrived home I looked at the same kayak I had purchased and found out I only saved $9.00 and had to travel 1415 miles home. I guess there are always lessons that you continue to learn throughout your life. If anyone has a real good way to exit a kayak I hope you will sent me a post. One of my problems is that I am only 5' 7" tall.

That is what we call a pond. It actually isn't that big but the bass are. Thanks for your comment.
